Redwood Electric Co-Op are great to work with and service is excellent from the lineman to the office personal!!
These folks are Energy CROOKS. I moved and bought a home in southern MN and These folks energy prices are through the roof. These folks will send you a Disconnect for a late payment. They make up fees and mark up prices. I am surprised there aren't more folks complaining. I will definitely be making a complaint to The BBB and MN Attorney General Keith Ellison on this companies business practices. Xcel energy is far better with prices and customer service.
Redwood electric does a fantastic job getting people out after hours of there is ever an outage, which is like never.
Yes, while under the guise as a "Cooperative" they are nothing more than a Retailer of energy. They do not produce any energy of their own, own no generation assets. They just purchase energy from a wholesaler and mark it up. And you lucky end user...the customer, pays whatever they charge. Free market at work.
