nice, cute, clean rooms, right on the river
First of all, the cabin is way overpriced for what you get. It was small and clean. Ours had two double beds, bath with shower, and small kitchenette. Pros: Lovely view of the Salmon River with Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Close to downtown area. Quiet. Cons: Needs new pots/pans, dishes, silverware, bedding and towels. Very old appliances, two sinks were dripping, not enough outlets, no GFI plugs in bath or kitchen, and no smoke alarm or CO detector. It’s clearly not up to code. Incredible views, easy to get to, and super friendly staff! Especially Titus, their Chocolate Lab and hardest working employee!
Wow, Stanley is beautiful!! The location of these cabins can't be beat! They are directly on the river and the view is incredible! The cabins are old, but they were exactly what we needed. The host is incredibly nice, and absolutely loved his dog who roams the property.
We stayed at the Redwood Cabins from Wednesday though Sunday August 2, 2026 for a family reunion. There were 20 of our family gathered for a family reunion. All had RV's or tents, but I am 74 and my bride is 66. We don't camp anymore. Greg the owner is amazing. The cabins are basic, but clean and well maintained. They are right on the Salmon River and only about 1 mile from Stanley. They are dog friendly which was important to use with our Border Collie Suzie Q.
