We booked penthouse 81 for the rooftop spa. We got a call a few days later and told we were getting moved as the owners wanted to stay that weekend. They assured us that the new apartment was nicer and more modern. My partner asked if it still had a spa and they lied and said it had a spa on the deck. We checked in to the apartment and the spa had been removed and the area covered with tarp with the gate locked. We called reception to ask about the spa and they were completely indifferent. Beautiful place, across from the beach. Redcliffe Cafe's, and Restaurants a short walk. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We stayed at Redvue 81 in December 2024 the penthouse. Was very disappointed the spa bath was covered couldn’t use it, it rained water came in under floor in lounge room and through window in bedroom. Told reception but was told owners wouldn’t repair anything. Was no pool but outside pool was advertised and was told could use Redvue pool, that’s fine if you can get in, the keys wouldn’t unlock pool gate and was weekend. Studio unit 21A was everything we needed. Could see parts of ocean. Loved sitting out on balcony in arvo having a beer and snacks. Pool could be seen from unit. Great weather for a swim. Redvue is close to shops. Woolworths closeby. We walked everywhere once we got to Redvue. Sunday markets were great. Loved the many food options and stalls. Highly recommend.
We have just stayed here for 4 nights on the yellow tower side). There is no or limited soundproofing, it also would have been nice if they had mentioned the building site works next to the church that also interfered with sleep. The room was clean and functional and location is good. If you're looking for a restful place this may not be the one.
