I ordered a large sausage Pizza on Dec 18th 2014, Pizza had very soggy crust and sausage tasted spoiled and was a terrible pizza, wrote a complaint to the owner and he didnt care just said hope its better next time.. guess what there wont be a next time!!! Save your money people!!! Kathy W
The pizza is the best. The owner is a smart and fair guy..not racist..an American through and through. I've been going in there since the 60's. great place! If you can't handle it go someplace with bad pizza and PC people.
Best Pizza ever – I grew up eating this Pizza and loved it from the start. I moved down to owatonna and was not happy with the Pizza down there so i drove up to St paul 70 miles one way for the best tast in Pizza i have ever had.

Horrible service - Only go here if you enjoy waiting. – My friends and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday while shopping in St. Paul. We were quickly seated so that we could wait . . . for 10 minutes before a waitress finally gave us menus. What happened to Red's???? – A celebration lunch was the order of the day and how better to celebrate than with Savoy's Pizzas? The five pizzas ($70.00+) were picked up at the 7th Street location and ready to serve. To everyone's dismay they changed the crust!!! How can this happen? ReD's Food and whiners – HEY IF You don't like his jokes, then eat somewhere else! That's why he doesn't go to your place! Some of the best pizza and chicken in town. The Pizza delivered in suburbs too!
Eat in, don't get it delivered – This place has great food - pizza, wings, everything you expect from a pizzaria - but it's not your average Papa Johns. Fresh sauce, toppings, and dough means that the flavor isn't what you get from a chain store or a frozen pizza, the flavor has lots of tomato and spice to it. It doesn't hold up to delivery well and I would guess they don't have very many drivers because it takes awhile, but if you're in the mood for great pizza it's worth sitting in the restaurant to enjoy
Best Pizza in town – I think Newport Savoy Pizza is the best. I have orded pizza from many other places both in town and on vacation. I have found Red's Savoy Pizza to be the best on a consistant bases. Some times they make take a little longer then they say to deliver but we alwasy get a great pizza. So watiing a little longer is not an issue for me. As long as I get a good hot pizza.
