Best SOFT ice cream in Portland that I can think of? And you can always count on them to be the first to open on the first day of spring! Tons of flavors, centrally located for everyone in the neighborhood. Now… if the line is long or you want Hard ice cream… keep driving past reds and go to Willard Scoops near scratch baking co!

Best soft serve ice cream anywhere! Just a place for takeout, only serves ice cream. No bathrooms. No tables. Poor parking. Always busy. Worth the wait. My favorite is the sift serve sherbert! Yum!
The line moves quick, the prices are reasonable and the Crunch Coat is unbeatable. Do yourself a favor and go to Red’s!
After visiting the Portland Head Light we decided to get something sweet. We saw the long line outside of Red's and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The wait was worth it. The best soft-serve we've ever had. The butterscotch was amazing. My wife got the s'mores sunday and she loved it. Super friendly staff and very tasty ice cream.
