In 1970, Earl and Mary Redner bought two small supermarkets near Reading, Pa., and started the first chain of employee-owned supermarkets in Pennsylvania. The stores were operated as IGA Food Stores franchises until 1979, when the company began operating its stores under the name Redner's Markets. 5 Stars!!! In the middle of this pandemic crisis and panic response from so many, you guys are the only store (Quakertown) we have been to in 4 weeks that are stocked the best even at the end of the day! Paper products are still lagging but that's everywhere. This was the first time in weeks that my husband came home from shopping and wasn't frustrated. Thank you!!!
