Michael Whatley from Redneck Mechaniks is completely unprofessional and dishonest. I was charged for an alternator I didn’t end up needing, and Mike promised me a refund. I texted him nearly every day for over a month, and each time he claimed he would send the money — but never did. Now he won’t respond to any texts or calls. Polite fast and affordable
Let me share my experience with Rednek Mechaniks. I contacted Mike to help with a 2019 Cadillac CTS that we assumed just had a dead battery. He showed up the next day and confirmed the battery was dead and also advised that the alternator needed replaced as well. We agreed for him to install the new battery, and were apprehensive moving forward with the alternator, but we were really anxious to trade the car so decided to move forward.
