WARNING If you are in need of an ambulance, please hear my story. We needed an ambulance back in Feb. as my husband broke his hip. I called 911 and Redmond responded. The paramedics did a great job, and I thank them for that. When we got the bill, I couldn't believe my eyes 2,032. of which we owe 654. after insurance. I thought there was a mistake so I asked for an itemized bill. The charges were base emergency call 1296. and for the 16 mile trip 736. That is 46.00 a mile, folks!!!
