My daughter typically has a very hard time at the dentist. She typically quite scared and sometimes refuses to even open her mouth. I quickly told the hygienist she was nervous and she was amazing with her. She showed her how the equipment worked and fully explained everything that was going to happen before she did it. She asked me about specific things before doing them and gave my daughter a lot of choice so she felt like she had some control. Overall it was such a positive experience.
