So cranky! I am not one to complain publicly but may I ask why the Redlands hospital would put my 90 yr old pop that has had a stroke in a 2 bed room with a patient on droplet precautions where all nurses and visitors are to gown up!! I appreciate all doctors and nurses but what the hell Redlands Hospital are you darft? Absolutely disgusting will definitely not be signing or allowing you to take any more money from my pops private health coverage (so the public hospital gets the money) ever again!!! 😡
3rd time posting as it keeps being removed. Attended Redland Hospital with severe abdominal pain and was eventually diagnosed with appendicitis requiring surgery. Despite arriving by ambulance, I was sent to the waiting room spent around 34 hours in ED, most of it fasting and sitting upright in a chair in severe pain. After 10 hours I finally had a CT which they said was only suspected appendicitis, followed the next afternoon by an ultrasound confirming it. I recently gave birth at Redlands (March 2026) and can't praise the team in birth suite enough, special shout out to midwives Courtney and Vicky who made my experience amazing. They listened to me and my needs/preferences and explained everything to my partner and I and were amazing my whole labour and birth. The midwives on the ward were also fantastic, particularly Jess, i felt very comfortable and supported.
