I love Dr. Mohammad & Son Dr. Naeem Mohammand! Back in 2010 I was going through a lot of financial difficulties and didn't have any health insurance. A friend recommended Redi-Med Clinic and Dr. Mohammed F. Yousuf, MD took care of me. Once I was able to get insurance I continued with Dr. Mohammed F. Yousuf, MD as my Doctor because he cares about the patient first, he listens and follows up. I have been going to Redi-Med here for the last 6 years. They are always very friendly to me and my family. They have the cheapest co-pay around and usually get in and out very quickly. Two days ago I went in for my wellness exam and Dr. Naeem told me about all the new changes coming to Redi-Med. They are opening an on site pharmacy and will also be adding allergy testing and treatment to the clinic! WOW! Why would I need to go anywhere else? Great place and keeps getting better.
If you judge this place by the doctors they have, you will give them A+. If you judge them by the morons in the front desk, you would never go there again. So my advise is to ignore the unfriendly front desk receptionists and focus on the convenience of seeing a doctor within 15 minutes of your arrival, and the wide range of medical interventions this clinic can provide. My advise to the doctors owning this clinic, please talk to your receptionists, they are very rude and they hurt the business more than anything else!
Called 1st and made sure they could help me with my children and the said yes. Drove from hammond to mandville to get there, they were rude from the minute I walked in. Told them the insurance I had, and they just handed me my paperwork without saying so much as Thank you. I filled them out while the looked up the insurance info. I turned the paper work in and waited aprox. 20min and then was called to the counter and the manager said the would not see the kids because they didn't take the insurance. The woman who is manager of this clinic is extremely rude and has always been rude. She is one of those people who does not like her job and it clearly shows. Then when this issue is brought to the doctor's attention he does not support his patients. They have no interest in helping their patients. They refuse treatment to patients and turn them away. I totally do not recommend this clinic to anyone. I will never go here again nor will anyone else I know. No excuse for the way they operate.
After years of excellent service, my last visit was very disappointing - even though only 3 other patients were in the waiting room ahead of me, it took me 2 hours and 40 minutes before I was could leave with prescription in hand. The nurses were friendly but no one ever came to tell me why the wait was so long. I finally had to step out of the patient waiting room. My visit to this clinic was pretty appalling to say the least. I called preemptively to ask the receptionist if the treatment I was looking for was available at this clinic and she hung up on me mid sentence. Once it was my turn in line to be seen, I spoke with two nurses and two doctors. The nurses were tattooed and seemed uneducated in the medical field. No one was friendly or helpful except for the doctor, who was very nice. The nurse I had was rude, seemed uneducated, and literally treated me like a child. Definitely do not recommend.
