I booked Redgums directly with Kelly a couple of weeks before a group hiking trip to Halls Gap. Kelly was great in the booking process and contacted me as soon as I made the enquiry. The property is superbly located and great to have the kangaroos in the back yard and all around. Also had deer, emus and sheep in close proximity. Quiet location with a spectacular view and I mean spectacular! Also within walking distance of the town and a 3km walk to the Halls Gap Hotel. Kangaroos in the paddock next door that provide some entertainment. House is nice and tidy with plenty of space and lots of utensils in the kitchen. Backyard is perfect for the kids to run around and burn energy and an awesome fire pit for chilly evenings. Would highly recommend staying here. We will be back for sure.
This place is fantastic for a small to large group, with many beds available and good open spaces. We went as 4 and found it really convenient to pass through to Halls Gap for the many climbing opportunities it presents. Also super close to local supermarkets and shops which was nice. Great presentation throughout and felt very comfortable within with modern airconditioning/heating within each room. Also super close to lots of kangaroos which are fun to watch throughout the day. Perfect accommodation for groups - we were able to fit 3 couples plus kids. The kangaroo show outside the window (we saw boxing and lots of joey activity) was a real delight. Plenty of room to hang out in inclement weather, lots of bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen. Can't think of anything to complain of!
