After using this shop for mechanical work, I was contacted privately by the mechanic’s wife through Facebook Messenger. The message contained hostile language, insults about my vehicle (she stated her husband called it a POS), accusations that were not based in fact, and a warning that I should not contact her husband again, ending with the phrase “FAFO,” which is commonly understood as a threat. I just had an awesome experience with Chris during a very stressful time with my vehicle. Yesterday my serpentine belt began to break on my drive home from blue ridge back home to Canton. After my initial stress and panic I finally called Redferns. Chris answered and got to me within 25 minutes. Initially this was a mobile service and when he got there, he then told me he had to get his tow truck and take it back to his shop. He got it back there with no additional cost. Chris is a great kind and caring person who went out of his way to get our truck fixed and gave us a truck to use to get to our cabin that we had booked and we were able to do a Christmas train ride we also had booked for a Saturday. He busted his butt to get it finished for us and went out of his way to get the parts needed to fix it. He fixed it and you can't even tell he touched it. Chris came within 30 minutes of my vehicle breaking down and leaving me stranded on the road, got my car back to his shop and fix the issue for a very good price. I was even able to finish my workday
