Melissa J Spencer, ARNP is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This is a safe space for LGBTQ+. I want to help you redesign your mental health. You are the expert in what it is like to be you. I want to listen first so that I can support your design. Together we will create a safe place of belonging and self-discovery. I do not have all the answers. Diagnoses, medications, and psychotherapy are merely tools to help you find your own answers.

They are amazing. I don’t know how to describe it but most therapist and psychiatrist I’ve been too seem cold and just want to get it over with. Melissa has taken the effort and time to understand me and prescribe what is appropriate to me and I am seeing good results. I am very grateful to have her as my psychiatrist because she has a lot of empathy for her patient unlike most “professional” I’ve had. Thank you Melissa and Stefani is amazing also!
Melissa and Stephanie are wonderful and make the entire atmosphere feel safe and welcoming. Melissa listens to my concerns and respects my input. She has been a big help in finding treatment, be it medication, TMS, or something else. It can sometimes be hard to find a mental health professional who understands religious trauma and how it can affect you long term, but Melissa has been great! I highly recommend her practice. ❤️❤️
In my humble opinion, Melissa Spencer is one of the best for med. management and holistic care. I have a complicated history or mood disorder. In my 40 years of treatment for it she ranks One for me! She's also helped me overcome the stigma of mental health.
