They came out did an estimate which we were happy with so we booked an appointment with them. Red Wire said it would take a few weeks to come out and complete the job because they were backed up which was completely fine with me. The day of we get a call 45 minutes after the tech should've been there saying he had some stomach issue and had to go to the hospital. Cut to 3 days later we had to call them and ask if anyone was going to come by, they tell us they're having scheduling issues blah blah blah. After another week we had to call them, once again we get shined on. Just another case of flakey Texas contractors with terrible customer service, why are your customers having to call you why not be proactive? And if you didn't want to do the job why didn't you just say so and not waste our time. How are people like this even in business?

I am very pleased with the overall work of David. It was a comfort to know that when I was at my home in Florida...he was keeping me abreast of all work and progress he was making here in McKinney Tx. Due to remodeling he had to perform work in stages. I was always well informed by this very courteous man. Past all inspections without one problem. I had a full electrical upgrade with installation of fans, light fixtures, light switches, exterior lights and electricity to garage.. My every request was carried out quickly, smoothly, and efficiently. Payment was commensurate with the stages of work and the price was right.
I am in the house and everything works perfectly. But even if it did not I have no doubt what so ever that it would be tended to immediately and graciously.
He will be my electrician for life. Highly recommended.

I contacted Dave at Red Wire Electric after reading their glowing Home Advisor reviews and I emphatically affirm their professionalism and quality of service! My wife and I recently moved into an older home with aluminum wiring and an old Federal Pacific Panel located on an interior wall. Dave came out and clearly explained what all needed to happen for the house to be safe and dependable for years to come. Dave and Max came out early and didn't leave until the job was complete and exceeded our expectations. They installed a new exterior panel, upgraded service to 200-amp, relocated the junction box to the attic to accommodate future expansion, ran new copper wiring from the junction box to the new panel with dual conduit feeds for minimal interference, installed a fully integrated smoke detector system, and most importantly gave my wife and I peace of mind. They did all of that work and still came in at the quoted price which was far in a way more reasonable than all other quotes we received. Dave at Red Wire is a consummate professional that prides himself on above quality work and is a model of integrity. In today's society these upstanding professionals are hard to come by. We will only be working with Red Wire for all of our electrical needs. My hat is off to you and your team Dave, you truly exemplify what it means to work hard and love what you do.

I will only use David for all of my electrical needs and their fee was cheap even if it had been twice the price.

David gave me what was probably the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. Incredibly nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I had an electrical problem with two of my circuits (lost neutral). David came to troubleshoot later that day, found the problem, and came back the next day (didn't have the necessary wire on him at the time) and fixed the problem. The work required him to go through the wall, but he treated the wall like he would his own...minimal cosmetic changes. If you're looking for a skilled electrician with competitive rates, treats your house like he would his own, and is a true gentlemen, stop searching and call him now.
