Ice cream is delicious. Had the Mackinaw Island Fudge and mint. The mint was super interesting. It had flakes of mint chocolate and chocolate flakes. Was great. Also, bought a bear claw. Have yet to try it, but it looks good. Cashier recommended the chocolate covered chips and caramels. I would have tried the chips, but they were fully covered in chocolate. If they had partial coverage, would have bought that for sure. No public restrooms, so don't think you will swing by for a bathroom break and sweet treat.
Seemed odd when we walked in that both workers were just sitting behind the back glass looking at us and on their phones. No greeting whatsoever. They stayed behind there until we made it obvious we were ready to order. I’m not a coffee snob but I wouldn’t order coffee drinks from here again.. chocolate selection was fun and different though!
This place was a happy my happy place. I literally ate ice cream every day I was in town. The young women were VERY sweet and patient with My kids while they made up their mind. They happily rolled out sample after sample. The root beer and cream soda was the best this connoisseur has ever tasted. Oh and they make chocolate. All kinds of chocolate and toffee is amazing. RWC is my happy place and I will absolutely make. Trip back to Redwing to eat there.
The store itself, location, cleanliness and quilty of products are good. Where they lack is in customer service. No acknowledgement of any kind, at any point, during our seemingly forces transaction. Not so much as a thank you. Will not be back.
