Can not recommend. Not very clean and the food does not taste good.
Red Viking Restaurant The Red Viking has a smorgasbord at night, a buffet in the day. It is nice if the kids are just not sure what they want. They can get a little of everything or a lot of one thing and fill up before you head back out. Reasonable prices.
If You Want Smorgesbord... this is the place I don't often go for smorgesbord, but if I'm going to have it, this is the place I go. Lots of tasty kraut, sausage, etc., and the interior of the restaurant has a really fun Danish theme going on. Lots of old folks on the weekends so the line at the smorgesbord can get a bit... slow, shall we say?

I had the smorgasbord, which was perfect because I got to try a few different things. My son was less adventurous and had a burger, it was huge and he said it was really good. My husband had the swedish meatballs and he really liked it.

My wife and I stumbled on this restaurant while walking around Solvang. What a pleasant surprise! The service was great and the food was delicious. Their aebleskivers were outstanding!
