I had some previously cut slabs that needed to be milled down to a size I could use. They were too large for me to transport and too heavy for my equipment. Rich at Red Truck Woodworks came to my home with his portable saw mill, cut my wood down to usable boards and did it all in a matter of a couple of hours. Rich is a very personable and gracious individual. You won’t regret giving him a call to see if he can help you with your project. I’d call him again if I needed his help. We had to take down a 70 year old black walnut tree and contacted Rich to mill it into boards. He brought his mobile sawmill to the backyard and took great care to make the most of the tree. In addition to cutting beautiful project stock, Rich worked with us to get some large sized pieces we need to make a feature wall in the house. We were impressed with the quality boards and the yield he was able to get from the tree. Thank you!
