I hate having to write a negative review, but I think people in Port Hope and surrounding areas need to hear my experience with Aaron Crawley of Red Star Heating and Air. My furnace died in the middle of the night and so I called a few techs before one finally answered. The HVAC tech I got hold of that night told me my furnace needed a new control board, but it would take 4 weeks to source one. Aaron was very easy to work with, honest and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions promptly and gave me his honest opinions. Really happy with his work and would definitely hire him for my next HVAC related work.
Very poor workmanship. Paid him fully before the work was done for a new unit. He destroyed our indoor unit to the point it was unfixable and left us without any hvac after he "gave up".
Had an issue with our AC unit late one evening during the heat wave. Aaron was very prompt, came within 15min of calling him. He was extremely professional and helpful. Fixed our issue so our toddler was able to sleep comfortably that night! We will definitely be calling him again when we need any work and highly recommend Aaron at Red Star!
