I would give 0 score if I could. I stayed there at the end of October during my road trip. I arrived at the hotel around 11:50 PM, it was almost midnight but I saw several people loitering, smoking and walking in & out. After I checked in and walked towards my room, there were also some people loitering along the hallway. I entered my "luxury" room and immedietaly noticed the unbearable smell. They're doing the best that they can while being short staffed, but I find it ridiculous that it's a $46 upgrade for there to be a fridge/microwave in the room. "Standard" does not come with it here.
DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is in such extreme disrepair, I felt uncomfortable sleeping there. Toilet paper roll falling out of the wall, holes in the walls, paper thin comforters and walls, tiny pillows, peeling paint, filthy remotes, light switches and floors. The elevators and hallways are all in extreme disrepair as well. The only redeeming factor was how kind and helpful the staff were. I had to change my booking date and they helped me with no issue. Nice staff, creepy parking lot
I booked two nights here for a Michigan football game. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place if you can. Pros: - Location - Price (but you get what you pay for) Cons: - Despite being labeled a smoke-free building with smoke-free signs all over the property, this place absolutely REEKS of cigarette.
