Rooms were absolutely disgusting. It reeked of pee and cigarettes, there was a dead roach on the floor, stains all over the beds and walls. We immediately got a refund and booked somewhere else

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place is disgusting! There are roaches crawling through lobby and in the rooms. There are constantly offensive smells, especially in the lobby and hallways. There are multiple long term guests and it is being treated as a low income apartment complex. It should not be apparent to out of town guests that, that is what is happening. My wife and I wanted to find a hotel that was pet friendly. You can bring up to one pet for free. However, if you bring two pets, then they charge you a fee. When we arrived to the hotel, we checked in quickly with our cat. We walked over to the next building over. Once we opened the door, the smell of cigarettes hit us in the face. For the price, I was able to go on vacation. I also paid the price. The hotel staff was so so kind and accommodating. I didn't feel unsafe because of the area or our stay's patrons. The pictures of the rooms are a bit deceiving for what we arrived to. But for the price, I would have been surprised if they looked like the photos in the hotel listing. Great location to do lots of things like the beach, colonial Williamsburg, Busch gardens etc. location that is all this place has going for it. however….run away. Another place is worth a longer drive or more money. Upon check in it took almost an hour because someone had reservations the hotel didn’t have. The clerk were on the phone helping this customer. Rather than having other employees help other guests check in, they sat around in the lobby talking. Got to the stairs for the room and holy tremors. Big nasty worms smas... read more
