Booked a king room directly with RRI, but when I arrived at check in they put me in a double queen room. Then the sink backed up & overflowed brown water all over the floor. Never staying here again.

I actually had a pretty good experience at the Red Roof Inn Flint. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for somewhere to stay without spending a crazy amount of money. The location is convenient too, especially being right by I-75, so getting around Flint and getting to different stores, restaurants, and other places is pretty easy. The staff was cool and friendly, and checking in was pretty simple. The worst place I have ever stayed at! The whole hotel is so dirty and the smell everywhere is bad but my room stunk so bad it made me nauseous all weekend, I had to have the window open the whole time. Half my lights did not work either, U told the front desk and he came up with an air freshener and sparyed around the ac unit where the smell was coming from and leaking everywhere and he said there was no rooms available to move me to and told me there is nothing he can do. Well, hotel smells like weed, super dirty. Outside it‘s not safe at all! You hear everything in your room, even with ear plugs. It was not pleasant at all. People stay there as their first residency with very giant dogs. Outside is full with dog shit. NEVER AGAIN. Kitchenette is empty, nothing provided. Very dirty floor…. Everything disgustingly dirty.

Awful. Reeks of pot 24/7. Room was dirty looking and not maintained well. Room smelled. Way overpriced for what was provided. Would never stay there again.
