We just left and have to say this place was great. After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned. I think that the negatives were because they were expecting a full service hotel. It may have been that in the past, but now it is more of an airB&B style situation. Our room was well appointed and spacious . It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Adorable boutique hotel. We stopped here briefly for the night so we didn’t have much time to explore, but the hotel was very clean and bright, we arrived late at night and had no problem getting in with Joe and Julie’s instructions. It is clearly a labor of love and the improvements that have been made are very well done. Room and bathrooms were very clean as well as the common areas. BEWARE!!!!!! This place is the worst hotel I've stayed in for a very long time! Cheesy combo lock on the front door. No one there. A feeling like your trespassing. The lock on the room was wobbly, and the door was previously kicked in. Bed was sagging in the middle by about a foot. When we arrived, the egg crate on the mattress was rock hard because the heat wasn't on, and the windows were allowing tons of cold air into the room. We went to dinner to allow the room to heat up. For heaven's sake, keep your hands off this "hotel". For me, this is internet fraud. The hotel is closed down and is for sale. No staff no service just a bed at an exorbitant price. When asked the owner only excuses and lies.
