This park is definitely not worth an entrance fee. California government is crazy for charging for this place. Just drive up 178 for way better views and camping. Federal government needs to take over this land.
The red color is due to the oxidation of iron-bearing minerals within the rock formations, looks amazing!
Must stop by if diving from Fresno to Death Valley.
