The bacon and blue burger came out heavy with grease, so much that it drowned the flavor. The fries were fresh, crisp, the only bright spot on the plate. What stayed with me, though, was the shift in service. Vianey was warm at first, but when I asked for my food to be packed to go—after I’d already paid and tipped—she rolled her eyes. She didn’t check on me again, though the dining room wasn’t busy. The combination of a poorly made burger and that small, sharp dismissal was enough to tell me I won’t be returning.
I was a little let down with no option for outside seating.
