When my husband and I moved to Denison from Plano several years ago we had a hard time finding a new church. Plano is a very diverse city and Denison is more conservative than I had imagined. We live close to Red River Unitarian Universalist Church and had driven by many times and admired the beautiful old house they use for their church building. I am often asked about my church, Red River Unitarian Universalist, in Denison TX. I am always proud to brag about my church. A lot of smiling, happy faces. We come together to help one another with their quest, as well as my own quest for truth. All are welcome. Let me repeat that . . . All ARE WELCOME! Two of the personal traits that are in abundance at UU gatherings are kindness and tolerance. Let me recommend that you give Red River UU church a shot.

I found Red River UU shortly after moving to Denison. It fills my need for progressive spiritual connections. The members are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it

I am a fairly liberal thinker, so I feel at home in the welcoming, friendly, and progressive environment at Red River Unitarian Universalist Church. I am comfortable sharing my liberal ideas without fear of judgment, and the same is true of my spiritual beliefs. I enjoy exchanging thoughts on spirituality with others as we each explore and shape a spiritual path that feels authentic and meaningful to us.
