My mother's truck had some shifting issues so I changed the fluid and filter hoping to correct the issue. When that did not fix the issue, I took my truck to Red River Transmission. I knew nothing about this place other than he came highly recommended by a business owner in Durant. Red River Transmission was able to fix the issue rather quickly and charged what I thought was a fair price. My mother's truck is shifting good now and she is very happy.
Went in for a Torque converter and come out with ABS light on, Traction control light on and service traction control sensor.. now I have to get things fixed. Found out that it's my wheel bearing sensor that's out because of him. He had his son work on it that knows nothing about cars!! Come to find out, he messed with my alignment as well. Told me he would pay for it.. never heard anything. I DO NOT recommend him what so ever!! Sigh 😓
Would not recommend! Only gave 1 star because you have too. Very irresponsible business owner. Took my car to him first week of May and he said 2-3 weeks. Weeks went by and he hadn’t touched it. First weekend of July someone ended up running through the pipe fence and hit my car. Owner did nothing about it saying his cop friend was looking at surrounding camera and stuff by not he ever happened and when asked if he had insurance he told us to file it on our insurance. Very reasonable prices, fast service, knowledgeable, and friendly. Bobby has taken care of me several times with different problems on my 04 tahoe. I will not hesitate to go back. One of the good ones around. He also built the trans in a silverado we own.
