We called after seeing the stables and were able to take a 1 hour horseback ride later that afternoon. Staff was very friendly! We took our two boys (2 & 4) and they loved it! Little guy rode with dad and big brother rode with mom. The hour ride was perfect for our boys. If looking for something to do I would recommend stopping by. Special thanks to Casino and Pecos!

Red River Stables is an absolute blast! Dirk and the crew are fantastic—they make the whole experience fun and memorable. Riding in the mountains was incredible; the views were breathtaking and the rides were well-organized. The staff’s knowledge and friendly attitude really make a difference. If you're up for an adventurous ride with great people, Red River Stables is the place to go. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back for more!

Absolutely wonderful! We felt safe with our guides. Went steep up the mountain! Beautiful serene ride. Just a heads up, we got a flyer at a gas station in Eagles Nest and it said 1hr ride was $50 tax included. It was actually $65+tax. Bidenflation, I’m sure. Still worth it!

in a mishap of locations i booked this instead of kentucky. i called and they rectified and refunded right away. great customer service and i hope some day we get to use them!!
