My brother needed urgent treatment soon after Hurricane Helene, and Red Oak was able to take him in while much of Western NC was utterly destroyed. He stayed for about 2 months, and they did keep him alive thank god. However, despite sharing a room with at least 4 other people at any given time and being fed mostly unhealthy foods like hamburgers and hot dogs, Red Oak charged us OVER $10,000 a month JUST for room and board. This facility Red Oak recovery center is a unique treatment 👌 facility that gives clients space and time to heal. For me I know I gained a clear understanding of who l was and what I needed to do in order to love opening my eyes every morning. I found that I was ungrateful. Gratitude is why I want to joyfully scream and scream and scream thank you to the staff way up on that mountain. They may not hear my sound but I know in their goodness they'll feel my spirit.
