Took the time to listen and figure out what I needed.
My mother is 83 years old. She has $4K hearing aids that she got 3 1/2 years ago in another state. At this appointment (yearly exam) she was told “even though her current hearing aids worked , they could quit and they are 6 months out of warranty”. So the sales pitch for new ones started. We declined $6K new aids - ( with a $2K service plan included), that mom DID NOT MEDICALLY NEED. Then mom said the aids “don’t stay in place in her ear as they should”.
