Last night I was at the Red Lion, there were four of us. The food was acceptable, with good meat, salty chips, and bland vegetables with nothing available to fix it. The problem was the staff, who, in my opinion, seemed human, but were actually managed by artificial intelligence. Why, at the end of dinner, would they refuse to offer a glass of beer because the kitchen was closed? Rules are important, but humans also have common sense, kindness, and empathy. Robots don't. One of the first customers on a Saturday Night, NO Oysters, NO Duck Springrolls. I want to leave but everyone else wanted to Stay. By the time we finished our meals I think everyone would have agreed we should have left. Food was ok nothing to write home about. Service was ok, this was a disappointing experience so not sure if we will be back.

Food was amazing! Very generous portion and reasonably priced. Best lamb shank I've had in a while and steak. Staffs were very friendly and handled a tricky situation they had on that night very professionally. They ensured that other customers were not affected by the situation. We left with two very happy stomach and will be back when we pop by Rocky again. Thank you!
