I unfortunately had to visit urgent care while I was on vacation, but it was a quick and easy experience here. I was seen in a timely manner by Richard Beevers. He provided me with a prescription that I was able to pick up at the pharmacy right downstairs. The women at the front desk were very friendly as well.
Best care on the island with short wait times and friendly staff.
I was excited to learn about its weight‑loss program, but very disappointed by the rudeness at the front desk and the unprofessional behavior from Melissa. My first inquiry was two months ago and I never received a call back. I called again on the 20th and asked specifically to speak with person who handles the program —Melissa who I was told is the only person who can assist—and six days later I still have not received a return call. This is not a good way to begin a program that requires trust and communication.
On vacation and needed to see a medical professional for an ankle issue. I stopped by and scheduled a visit for a hour later. The staff is friendly, professional and on top of things. I saw Richard Beevers, NP, and was so impressed with him. Diagnosed my issue quickly, chatted for a few minutes, and he sent my prescription to the pharmacy downstairs. Highly recommend Red Hook Family Practice ( and they took all of my insurance). In and out in 45 minutes too.
