My daughter (8) and I went to get a mani/pedi. Regular pedi and gel manicure. Kid prices listed on sheet did not match up. Overcharged for pedicure and had to get them to make it right. Instead of voiding transaction, technician just gave the difference for tip. My gel manicure was sloppy with weird spots dryer than others. Wouldn't go back or recommend.

Because the regular location I use for nail services was closed for a summer holiday, I went to Red Handed. While I have only received mediocre service before, today’s was especially poor. Details: I asked for a gel pedicure and a manicure with no polish. I selected a gel based polish for my toenails. The woman put on one coat of it and indicated that we were finished. I told 2 different people, twice each, that I wanted clear gel polish. What did I get? Regular nail polish. I’m not sure if it’s the assumption of a male not knowing what he wants or thinking I won’t know the difference, or just a plain listening issue or what. Only reason I didn’t protest is because I have work in the evenings, but I will not go back. Getting my nails done as a man in the south is irritating enough with getting the side eye from everyone. Astonishingly bad. Lasted all of 5 minutes, and essentially the technician just cut my nails. No cuticle work, no massage, nothing. Should have complained immediately, but was too stunned. Avoid. There are many other very good nail salons in the area.

Anna did a wonderful job with my gel manicure. The salon was clean, everyone was friendly and professional.
