Power failures here were too common an occurrence and were a problem, particularly when I have to work from home. The generator installation went off nicely, and at the next outage, the generator successfully took over power when it was called upon. This took a lot of pressure off of us seeing everything still running flawlessly.
Our home inspector marked two double tapped circuits, two wires placed in one breaker for our refinance appraisal and our home loan would not qualify because of the deficiency. I still have all of the knob and tube wiring in my 1950s house and yes, my insurance company replaced all of the wiring in the home with a new grounded circuit throughout, didn't use much fishing technique to save the original plaster walls and rewired the entire house itself in less than FOUR days. Then the insurance company was granted permission, 100% coverage was restored and my house has become much stronger electrically than it was before.
went ahead with house rewiring after dealing with too many small electrical issues. It took a bit of time, but the work was done neatly. I feel a lot more at ease now using everything at home.
I had frequent lightbulb blowout happening over and over again and it was getting expensive. I didnt understand why it kept happening. The electrician checked the voltage and fixed a fluctuation issue. Bulbs are lasting normally now, Grateful for your help!
