Local Hotspot! – Red Dragon has been a local neighborhood chinese restaurant favorite since the late 1980s. The location in the heart of Five Points, and near Cameron Village, sets the stage for a wonderful experience. Top Tier for 20 years! – I have been a patron of Red Dragon for going on twenty years. I have never had a bad experience and the food has always been delicious. The ownership has never been anything but nice and the wait staff is always on their game. Keep up the good work!
BEST CHINESE IN RALEIGH – As soon as you walk in to the restaurant you get a friendly greeting. The one downside of the hidden jewel is the small dining room. The food is fabulous...Hot and Sour soup is the best there, but you can't go wrong with any of the entrees. The parking lot is also sometimes really hard to park in, but I am a really bad driver. GO EAT HERE YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Intimate atmosphere – My husband and I have been going to Red Dragon for at least 8 years and have always loved it. The food is good Americanized Chinese. If you're looking for authentic style, this isn't it. We love that it's small and quiet. We have always had polite and fast service. Over the years, the portions seem to have gotten a little smaller. Great service – First time going to Red Dragon, we will go back. The food was very well prepared. I had chicken with broccoli. I asked for it spicy, our waiter took the time to explain the two sauces that have that would be spicy. I went with his recommendation, spicy brown sauce. Great time! Place is small, you may have a wait.
Good Raleigh Chinese – I went to this place and had the tofu vegetable dish-- best I have had in Raleigh. The veggies were fresh and the brown sauce was flavorful, the spring roll was good, but the wonton soup was a little on the bland side, but still flavorful, especially after adding a bit of soy sauce. Bland "Americanized" fast-food Chinese food – I've been to The Red Dragon twice; the first time it was not at all good...the second time, my friends and I went because we were hoping that I'd been wrong the first time. Unfortunately, I wasn't. The staff was polite but not friendly; they only came to the table to take our orders, bring the food, and to leave the check. Good food and friendly staff – The only drawback to this place is that it is too small to hold the crowds it sometimes generates. The reason it gets crowded is because the food is very good. Since 2001, I've probably eaten at Red Dragon at least 30 times. The soup is delicious and the sweet and sour chicken is hard to beat. They give you a generous amount of nearly everything.
