If you're looking for an easy getaway to the "lakes" area of central Minnesota, don't look past the Red Door Resort. Our family of 5 enjoyed a spacious and meticulously maintained and clean cabin for three nights, and had room to spare. The pool and sauna were amazing, as was the access to Mille Lacs. This year was my first visit to the resort. I've now been there twice and both times the accommodations were great. Cheri and her staff were very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I just stayed here for a week in one of the motel rooms. Our stay was awesome, the motel is a short walking distance to the boat slips, the room was clean and staff was always around if you needed anything. For a place that is right on the water the price is very affordable. We will definitely be back.
Great place . Many options reasonable rates. New Pool and Sauna.
