Great place . Many options reasonable rates. New Pool and Sauna.
We had a fantastic stay at the Red Door Inn. The guided fishing tour was a highlight—we caught some big walleyes and John was an excellent guide. My boys had a blast fishing. He even cleaned the fish for us so we could enjoy it for dinner. The kids loved the new pool, and we spent hours running back and forth between the sauna and the lake. Great owners —they make it such a welcoming place. We’d definitely come back!
We just had our 2nd year at Red Door, we enjoyed it so much the first we, we knew were going back this year so we made our reservation. We even had a tiny request to stay in the same cabin we did the previous year. The day we arrived we were told there was a bad storm a few night prior to our arrival, and a tree smashed a car right in front of out cabin. We had the opportunity to stay at that cabin or move to a different cabin. We chose the other cabin to stay out of the way of the car being cleaned up and towed away. All i ... read more
We have had our family reunion at The Red Door Resort for over 15 years now. It is absolutely beautiful and the best place to hold our reunion. We have a large family and the cabins are plentiful and perfect for our needs. The owners are gracious and always friendly and helpful. Everything is convenient and the addition of the new pool was a big hit!!
Staff was excellent, Our cabin was very clean and cozy.
