Donated platelets today. It was my first time. All the staff was friendly and attentive. Headphones and tv available while you donate.
Just donated here today and the experience was bad at most. The lady who took the needles off me was super aggressive: when I expressed that the edge of the tubes from the heat gun burnt me, since she threw it onto my hand while I was just watching my show, she had an “oh well” attitude and there was no “sorry” at all. She also threw the blankets on me during the process. The least she could do was letting me know that she was going to do it in advance: there was no communication what so ever. Donated here this past weekend. It was a great experience. The staff were amazing: kind, efficient, and really good at creating a comfortable atmosphere. I definitely plan to return.
