Delicious, authentic dishes at an extremely reasonable price. Service is always kind and the atmosphere is cozy! The perfect place to take a date (which I've done twice!) or family/friends/yourself. My personal favorite dishes so far are the red curry and pad thai. Great for takeout too! 10/10
Such good food and atmosphere! I got the Tom Yum Noodle Soup and it was so flavorful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Everything is clean and the food was served quickly, I could tell that the owner and servers were very considerate of the customers and wanted to offer the best service. Would recommend!

I gave Red Basil a second chance tonight for dinner, hoping the higher dinner prices would at least come with larger portions. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The portions were smaller than expected, and my Pad See Ew barely had any rice noodles in it. Service was also very disappointing. Our waiter and owner disappeared for long stretches and seemed nowhere to be found. We never received a water refill, and one of our dishes never came out at all. New ownership has had to pick a strategy in menu that works for them. While I do enjoy the food, the change to the lunch special is particularly disappointing. I really don't enjoy salad when I go out for Asian food, and I am not a fan of spring rolls. Those are now the default and only supplement to the lunch specials. Previously you were able to select from approximately a dozen items from soup to dumplings to chicken satay to Thai iced tea to bundle with your lunch special.
