Good outdoors gear Recreations outlet is a pretty good place. The prices are very reasonable but they don't carry any major name brands in their store. The stuff they do carry is quality though. They have a knowledgable staff. They are friendly and helpful. They layout of the store is good. It is easy to find what you are looking for. If you don't care about no name brand things then this is the place for you.

They'll have everything you need! My husband LOVES the outdoors and is a huge REI fan. We saw an ad for Recreation Outlet in the paper and decided to check it out. They had a great selection of camping and hiking gear and the prices were very reasonable! The employees are also very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.

I have been shopping at Recreation Outlet for decades and recently my visits have more than exceeded my expectations. I was greeted and helped by the knowledgable staff. They have cleaned up the store and are more organized that I have ever seen in the past. This is a great place to purchase anything in a budget.

We had looked at RO earlier in the day. Only one of several employees was helpful so we decided to shop around. We came back right at 9:00 to grab one item. We didn't expect it to be a problem because there were still several customers browsing in the store and we knew exactly what we needed. The minute we stepped inside the store, an employee shouted from across the store "we're closed." Great for the outdoors enthusiast! My husband was working with the scouts for awhile, which involved quite a few camping trips, and he needed some outdoor gear that was suitable for thw winter conditions in Utah. We kept getting ads in the mail for Recreation Outlet and finally decided to check it out. It's not a huge place, nor does it have a huge selection, but the prices are very good and the staff is very willing to help.
