A wonderful, welcoming store. Perfect for DIY paint and much more! I came in last Thursday for some Fusion Mineral paint, but was in need of some advice as well. The woman who was working (not sure if the owner or an employee) was super friendly and knowledgeable. She confirmed that mineral paint was the right fit for my project and advised me on choosing the best colour combination. She provided great advice on brushes, prep and top coating too. Very happy to see that this local business is still around and survived the COVID pandemic. That's a testament to the knowledgeable and experienced staff working there. A recent project of mine to repurpose wooden picture frames required some special paint. I knew that Recreated Designs stocked Annie Sloan chalk paint, milk paint, and Fusion brands and staff helped me pick out the best one to suit my needs. Beautiful store and they carry a huge variety of milk paint.
I would highly recommend this store for anybody just getting started with furniture finishing! The store owner Lisa is very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations.
I took the Beginners' Course in furniture painting and enjoyed it immensely. The amount of knowledge I gained in this 2 hour course was astounding. Lisa made it relaxing and her expertise was most appreciated. I can't wait to start my project.
