I now live in Aus, but it’s become a tradition that I do at least a couple of casual sessions at Recreate, whenever I visit home in Christchurch. The programming for classes is excellent and the coaches I’ve met are all top tier - extremely helpful. My brother (who is a member that goes regularly) has been following the coaches advice for a few years now and is now way fitter and stronger than me! Excellent gym and highly recommended! Everyone is so friendly, the changing rooms and showers are always clean and tidy, and the gym floor is not crowded. Great classes and all the equipment you need.
While traveling through Christchurch, my wife and I were struggling to find a CrossFit gym to keep up with our training. We stumbled upon Recreate Performance, and it was a lifesaver! Even though it's not specifically a CrossFit box, it had all the equipment and the right atmosphere for a challenging and effective workout. We were really impressed and would definitely recommend it to other fitness travelers.
