Couldn't have had a better experience here. The staff here are some of the most responsive and genuine people I've ever met in life. They truly care for each individual in the facility. Including myself, even though I've moved on to bigger and better things in life. I will forever take the lessons and wisdom they gave me through out my entire life. I spent a few weeks here. I think it was a very structured helpful place. The staff is very caring and relatable. Michael has the best work ethic ever does an awesome job encouraging the residents. Torri was really great also. I would recommend this place as a person that struggles with mental health. Thank you Recreate Ohio
I have contacted Recreate Behavioral Health for mental health assistance 3 times this year. After the first contact in January, I was given a direct line to Jade and told not to hesitate to reach out. When I contacted her again with questions, I did not get a response. I tried to reach her two more times over the next two weeks with no answer. The second time I tried to fill out a help form, there was no response at all. At that point I just gave up. 3 stars because it was good, but not great. I was in the mental health side. This is the kind of place thats good if you just want to take a month to yourself and work on some coping skills. I think it would be a good step after going to a hospital maybe or if youre NOT in any kind of crisis. You're allowed to bring clothes with no restrictions on strings or belts, unopened food and drink, hygiene products, journals, coloring books and pencils, comfort items, etc. They take your phone, wallet, and keys. Recreate is truly a top-notch facility. From the accommodations and beautiful property to the incredible staff, the entire experience has been exceptional. The nursing staff is compassionate, attentive, and genuinely cares about the people they are helping. What really stands out is the administration, case managers, and counselors.
