Recovery Works NW is perfect for getting me back on my feet. From the front desk and beyond, they know what they are doing. One on one counseling is awesome, caring. The onsite UAs are quick and private. Zoom classes are led by experienced and knowledgeable counselors. Go nowhere else.
Really an awful experience. They changed my counselor without any explanation or warning at all and came in with an uncompassionate bulldog of a person who made the experience miserable. Communication was so bad that I had to remind my counselor that we had a meeting on the calendar. I completely understand why my insurance company sent me a letter warning that they are no longer a preferred provider and strongly suggested I find someone else. This organization, especially the Newberg location, is AWFUL. Lying, gaslighting, belittling and incompetent. You are a cash cow and they will do whatever they can to get the most out of you. I’ve attempted to contact the appropriate person to settle my grievances, always sent to voicemails and no call backs. Avoid these facilities like the plague, as it’s exactly what they are to this most vulnerable community.
