Do not trust Owen. We let him know were were only interested in residential treatment. He gave us a tour of a facility that was shut down 3 days or so later, leading us to believe there would be a room available there right out of detox. Then, halfway through detox he informed us that in fact no room was available, only outpatient treatment. This lie cost our family $1800 in a failed detox, because we then had no viable plan for discharge. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 100 STARS!!! Recovery Ways saved my life! Their program and staff are unbeatable. Their program actually teaches you about how addiction is a disease of the brain and how it coincides with mental health issues. When they told me they offered a dual diagnosis program, they were not kidding! This is by far the best program I have ever been in. I went there at 22 days sober and for the first time since I was 15, I am celebrating 130 days sober (of ALL mood and mind altering substances)! The one thing al... read more
