Very disappointed in their treatment practices; the counselor sent me home from PHP (partial hospital program) saying my insurance denied the coverage. However, I called my insurance and no determination had been made. What's more, they did nothing to assist me in getting approval, per my insurance provider. They lied to me and now I'm without the treatment I really need. If they didn't think I was a good fit, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONEST. I have had such a positive experience here. There are tons of professional in every field DBT,CBT, mindfulness, and substance use. I would absolutely recommend this treatment facility above others. ( and they feed you great food too) Heather made me feel very comfortable in a very stressful moment in my life which made me very receptive to the whole experience. The therapist here are experts in fields and at the same time they approach it with vulnerability and humility, which for me allowed me to give my trust to them.
I was involved in Sierra Health and Wellness for almost 9 months. I was coming out of a 10 year long heroin addiction where I was on the streets and in and out of jail. I had the most wonderful experience with the counselors that were there. So much so that when I was no longer able to make it to their in person location(Rancho Cordova) that I then transfered to seeing them virtually. “I made a mistake in this program. There were multiple others who had done the same thing including one person who was hospitalized because of it and I am the one who got discharged. I liked the program and they said it took a lot to get kicked out but I guess different rules apply to different people. I was super nice to everyone there.” Ignore that 1 star review by Matt.
