I had a very poor experience at the outpatient program with Sierra Health + Wellness in Sacramento. The facilitators and staff are extremely judgmental, and I did not feel safe enough in the environment to truly open up and being to heal or recover at all. Extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed in their treatment practices; the counselor sent me home from PHP (partial hospital program) saying my insurance denied the coverage. However, I called my insurance and no determination had been made. What's more, they did nothing to assist me in getting approval, per my insurance provider. They lied to me and now I'm without the treatment I really need. If they didn't think I was a good fit, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONEST. I have had such a positive experience here. There are tons of professional in every field DBT,CBT, mindfulness, and substance use. I would absolutely recommend this treatment facility above others. ( and they feed you great food too) Heather made me feel very comfortable in a very stressful moment in my life which made me very receptive to the whole experience. The therapist here are experts in fields and at the same time they approach it with vulnerability and humility, which for me allowed me to give my trust to them.
