Recovery Acres and Robson House have played a crucial role in my recovery. I recommended either of these places to anyone.
My experience was excellent, program gave me many insights on myself and the tools needed to stay sober. Staff can seem unfair but they have good reasons when they do, they will also go out of their way for you and support you in any way they can from a listening ear to assisting you with getting some funds.
This was an abusive place for a Two spirited First Nations person. Maybe two or three staff were kind. The program manager was the worse, for someone in power she was verbally and psychologically abusive.
Nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! Would recommend it to anyone I know. The staff is sensational! The program is top notch.. It could work for you if you want it.. Don’t bother reading the negative reviews, they are written by men who were not honest with themselves and not ready for change!
