I have a hc600 that began eating batteries. Contacted reconyx and after paying shipping and $90, I was told it was fixed. Within 6 months did it again. Contacted reconyx and they wanted more money. Cut my losses and shelved it. Cleaned out my hunting tubs today and decided to open it up before trashing it. I discovered corrosion on the power terminal that connects to the circuit board. The corrosion was probably causing a slow drain across the terminals and discharging the 12 very expensive lithium batteries. Easy fix. I hav... read more
