Had the pleasure of training at Rec Gym for 3 months and could not have enjoyed myself more! Catering to all level's, an environment that pushed me along in my journey. My kids have loved the introduction of the Next Gen classes for kids and teens. Thanks to Meg, Mitch, Joel, Summer and all the Rec Gym Team for creating an amazing place to switch off and train hard.

Very good CrossFit gym. Mix of levels attend and the owners mix things up and add extra challenges/comps to keep people engaged. Friendly and welcoming instructors. Generally it is more gymnastics focussed than a lot of CrossFit gyms but they do strength specific/lifting sessions & have a dedicated strength room. All classes have good structure and more time is spent on warming up than some peer gyms and this helps minimise injuries incurred. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Rec. This gym has helped me improve my technique and learn new skills, and I've had a great time doing it. The programming is excellent and the coaches are true experts. To top it off a recent DXA scan showed a substantial increase in muscle mass and bone density - no small feat for a 40 year old woman. I'm thrilled with the results and grateful for the positive impact Rec gym has had on my health.
