On 12/6/23, I ordered some ripple & flat foam Inserts for some fly cases I am making. Around 12/28/23 I sent them a message asking when it was going to be shipped, no reply. On 1/8/24 I called the number listed on the web site, went to voice mail so I left a message asking them to call me back regarding my order. On 1/9/24 I get an email stating that my order has been shipped. As mentioned in another review, they never tell you the cost of shipping. Will I use REC again, nope! $30 shipping was almost as much as the $48 tube. A blind cost they hid at time of purchase. Be warned. Shipping said $0.00 if I more transparent I would have used a pvc pipe!
Great Products
Pros- I've used REC guides for several years on rods that I've purchased and rods that I've built. They are excellent. They are very strrong and resistance to saltwater (where I do most of my fishing) corrosion is superb. Cons- Fullfilment of orders can be a little slow and communications with the company are soemetimes inconsistant.
