I spoke with the owner about needing an assessment, specifically for my lawyer. I made it clear that I was currently uninsured and needed both an assessment and a letter confirming that I am not currently using hard drugs, based on that assessment. During my initial appointment, I only discussed my actual addictions and substances I’ve struggled with. The counselors were compassionate but also honest, which is exactly what I needed. The structure, support, and community here gave me tools I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
